A Walk Along The Viking Way from Tealby in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

As it was such a beautiful day we decided that it was too good to be in despite my spending the morning photographing birds so we opted for a walk along the Viking Way from Tealby.  This is a 147 mile long distance footpath that winds its way through Lincolnshire, from the Humber Bridge in the north to Oakham in the south.  Out path from Tealby climbed high onto the edge of the scarp slope of the Wolds giving excellent views across the flat farmlands to the ridge of the Lincoln Edge and the Trent Power Stations beyond.  A wonderful afternoon.
