After visiting Brigg Farmers Market and lunch in The Steel Rooms gallery, we opted to take Jet for a walk round Tigmoor Woods a couple of miles up the road on the outskirts of Scunthorpe.

Autumn Walks, 3. Scartho Cemetery.
Keen to photograph some Autumn colour, I decided to pop round the corner to the cemetery, always productive photographically. I has been an extremely windy day, however, and when I arrived the trees were lashing all over, so I opted for some impressionistic long exposure images.

Autumn Walks, 1. Walesby Woodlands
The weather has continued very mild this October and, combined with an excellent summer, this means that there is an abundance of berries and insects this year, as well as a good nut harvest. This is encouraging news for our wildlife as there is a plentiful food supply for them in order to fatten up for hard times to come. Leaves have remained on the trees for a long while and are producing a magnificent kaleidoscope of Autumn colour. Since returning from Scotland we have enjoyed several walks with the dog, Jet, and I have enjoyed photographing the vibrant countryside colours.
