Scotland, September 2014, Musselburgh Day 2

A final trip down the coast today on our last day.  The first stop was Ferny Ness for some bird photography and then coffee at the Scottish Ornithological Centre at Aberlady where it was good to catch up with Events Coordinator Dave Allan who I always seem to run into at The Scrapes.  There was an excellent exhibition of bird prints here by artist Lisa Hooper.  From here we enjoyed afternoon tea at the hotel at Dirleton before popping down to Yellowcraig beach.  We returned to Aberlady for the sunset and to watch, and hopefully photograph the pinkfeet coming in to roost.  Our day, and holiday, ended with fish and chips at Port Seton.  Sadly tomorrow it is time for the long drive south and home.
