SATURDAY 7th NOVEMBER
Yet another fabulous day for weather. Heather and I went out early and then met
Beth and Alejandro for tostada by Las Setas.
Following our late breakfast, Alejandro took us on a superb guided tour
of old Seville, the highlight of which was a visit to Casa de Pilatos a
fabulous mudejar palace, a fusion of Moorish and Christian architecture, like a mini Alcazar, the famous Moorish palace of Seville. Unfortunately Alejandro had to
leave us at this point, so we went to The Merchant, a local of Beth's for a
late lunch before heading over the river to Triana, the old gypsy quarter of Seville, for some photography and then very
gradually back to the flat, picking up a pizza on the way.
