Dog Walking and Nature.

Took Jet for a walk this afternoon down to the River Freshney in Grimsby.  Not expecting to take any photographs as the weather was poor, I only had my compact with me.  I was delighted to find butterbur in flower on the banks of the Freshney, however, and too the included shot of dead trees.  Some years ago water levels rose in this lake and since then these mature trees have died.  It gives a rather 'other worldly' look to it.
