Andalucia, April 2018. Day 1

We set off to Seville today to spend the week with Beth while we still can as she moves back to the UK in August.  Our flight was at 6.00 am so it was a 2.00 am start to dive down to East Midlands Airport in the pouring rain.  Not the best of journeys.  Still, it is very handy for us that Ryanair have now started flights direct to Seville from EM so it makes our journey much easier.  We landed in the dry, but, by the time we got to Beth's apartment it had begun to rain which continued all afternoon.  Not the best start.  Undeterred, after Beth had left for work, we set out to walk to her local Carrafour which is always good for a browse.  We shopped for the ingredients for our evening meal which I cooked ready for Beth's return at 9.30 pm.  A long working day for her and travelling one for us.  Later, the rain cleared and it turned into a beautiful evening with the scent of orange blossom on the trees below the apartment perfuming the air.
