Garden Foxgloves in the Early Morning Light
Our foxgloves are coming into bloom nicely now. As they are naturally plants of woodland and shade we try to grow them down in our woodland glade and fernery. They do, however, insist on seeding themselves in the patio instead of where we want them so we are constantly having to carefully lift the seedlings and replant them. Last year I collected the seed and planted it in seed trays and we had more seedlings than we knew what to do with. We have transplanted loads in the garden and, hopefully, they will flower next year.
