The Woodland Burial Ground

Yet again very cold with temperatures sticking to around 5C, although sun and shelter around the woodland burial ground meant that bees and bee flies were busy.  I was interested to note a few clumps of snakeshead fritillaries in flower in the main cemetery.  As these were around graves I can only assume that they must have been planted; strange that I had not noticed them before.  I love that no matter how cold and bleak there is always something to note and find interesting and always something to point the camera at; more so when you know an area really well as has happened during this year of lockdowns.
