Another Cameraless Day on the Patch

Extremely windy today and the wind made it cold, particularly as I only a shirt and fleece jacket on.  I usually go over dressed but got it wrong today.  I followed the farm track to Low Farm where I had excellent views of buzzard trying to hunt over the fields in front of the farm.  In the hedge I came across a flock of late redwings and the hedge was also full of finches, yellowhammers and other buntings.  Over Peaks Parkway I found 3 hares on the wheat.  On the walk around the woodland burial ground I was interested to find one or two hawthorns now in leaf.
