Return to Ashes Lane, 7. Kendal Castle.
The weather has turned today and we woke to milder conditions but overcast skies and rain. After a quiet morning and lunch we drove into Kendal and walked up to the Castle which we found interesting. We treated ourselves to tea in Farrer's before doing some shopping for supplies and then returning to the van.
